Well hello there, I'm Nina, a Bristol based maker and photographer. I build wooden light boxes in which I place my best photographs. The back lighting gently shines through the print and adds depth and richness to its colours and details.
Born and bred in Paris, I moved to Bristol in 2010 and have never looked back! I've seen my work rewarded in competitions like 24 Hours in Bristol and the Pink Lady Food Photographer of the Year. One of my pictures was also selected to be the cover image for the Visit Bristol guide.
One day I had the luminous idea (pardon the pun!) to add a backlighting system to my framed photographs to give them a warm soothing light.
Woodworking lessons helped me learn how to make each of my light boxes by hand. From my tiny 'workshop' in the corner of my kitchen I build light boxes with pine wood and LED lights. They are all unique and made with a lot of care.
Feel free to email me firstname.lastname@example.org or use the form on my contact page if you have any questions.
In the meantime, keep on shining!
